HPI Inner Rotor System. This is a total loss stand alone system, it does not require a battery or wiring loom to run. This Is A Must Upgrade For Any Serious Tuned Motor For Maximum Power.
The Ignition System Gives A Stable Ignition Signal Even At High Revs And Is Capable Of Over 20,000 RPM.
The Flywheel Is Only 430g Which Saves Around 810g Over Stock, This Reduced Weight At The Crankshaft Gives A Much More Responsive Throttle Response. The Flywheel Has No Locating Groove For A Woodruff Key But Remains Simple To Install With Full Instructions And Fixing Bolts.
The Advantage Of This System Is The Auto Advance And Retard Feature. With Increasing Revs The Ignition Timing Is Retarded To Give An Easier Life To The Cylinder. Down The Rev Range The Ignition Timing Is Advanced To Give Better Power And Torque. This Kit Gives Approx 2 BHP Increase Over A Stock Ignition System On A 27 BHP Motor.
Supplied is a digital CDI unit which has 1 map loaded onto it. An optional programmable CDI unit is available, you are then able to fully program, change and save your curve to suit your set up. Please note an interface cable will be required for the programmable CDI unit which is a special order item, contact us for more details.
