HPI Inner Rotor System Second Generation With Charging System.
The Ignition System Gives A Stable Ignition Signal Even At High Revs And Is Capable Of Over 20,000 RPM.
The GEN 2 Flywheel Weighs In At Only 320g Compared To The GEN 1 Flywheel At 430g Which Saves Around 920g Over Stock, This Reduced Weight At The Crankshaft Gives A Much More Responsive Throttle Response.
The Advantage Of This System Is The Auto Advance And Retard Feature. With Increasing Revs The Ignition Timing Is Retarded To Give An Easier Life To The Cylinder. Down The Rev Range The Ignition Timing Is Advanced To Give Better Power And Torque. This Kit Gives Approx. 2 BHP Increase Over A Stock Ignition System On A 27 BHP Motor When Tested.
Comes With Two Ignition Curve Digital CDI Unit Which Are Pre-Programmed. The Selection Is Done By A Little Switch Which Is Available Separately In The Options Box. Both Curves Are Linear And Give A Very Wide Setting Range.
The Auxiliary Coils Produce 60W Of Power Which Is Perfectly Adequate To Power Front & Rear Lighting, As Well As The Charging Of A Battery If Fitted.
The Flywheel Has No Locating Groove For A Woodruff Key But Remains Simple To Install With Full Instructions And Fixing Bolts.
This Is A Must Upgrade For Any Serious Tuned Motor For Maximum Power.
