Top Racing MV1 Variator.
The variator comes standard with 20mm x 17mm 12.5g rollers, a good bolt on performance part for an overall smooth power gain through the engines RPM range. Gives approx. 10% power increase over stock variator kit.
The Top Racing variators are injected in special aluminium leagues. After mechanization, a surface treatment of chemical nickel is made to improve the surface hardness. This treatment will provide a higher resistance to the wear, increasing its life time.
An oil retaining bronze bearing with about 40% of oil, is assembled in the variators hole, to eliminate the ossibility of the bronze bearing and the variator pin to stuck. The variator has a bigger diameter to allow a larger speed variation and a better stability. Larger diameter rollers are used for dynamic compensation. To get a better relation between the speed variator and the torque corrector, a spring is provided. Top Racing rollers are produced in a technical polymer resistant to abrasion and high temperatures. Each colour corresponds to a different size and the weight is printed on the roller.
